The Governors Club

The Central Bank of Montenegro is a member of the Central Bank Governors` Club of Central Asia, Black Sea Region and Balkan countries. The membership in this prestigious organisation, which the CBCG joined by signing the Protocol on Joining the Governors` Club in St. Petersburg in May 2005, enables the bank to further improve the regional cooperation in monetary, financial and banking fields and to establish closer relations with central banks in the region. 


The National Bank of Serbia chaired the Governors` Club in 2007, with the central banks of Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania as co-chairs. The same year, the Central Bank of Montenegro hosted the Governors` Club meeting in Budva for the first time.
