Milojica Dakić was born in Zemun in 1948. He completed his elementary educaion in Dubrovnik, grammar school in Titograd. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics – the University of Montenegro in 1973, where he also attained his master’s degree in the field of banking in 1986.
He speaks French. He has had a number of specializations in the country and abroad. Visit to financial institutions in the USA in 2001 was of special significance. Among the conferences he participated in he attached a great importance to the Conference on Banking Supervision held in Warsaw in 2000. He published a number of papers. He speaks French. He has Montenegrin nationality. He is married, wife Branka, maiden name Savović; they have three children (Milica, Andrija and Jelica).
Milojica Dakić was appointed a member of the Council and Director General of the Central Bank by the Parliament of Montenegro on 15 March 2001.
