The Subject of the Bidding


The subject of the bidding is the supply of equipment for the specified segments required by the Central Bank of Montenegro.


Segment 1:

v      Expert workstation for professional document

and banknote examination                                         1 item


Segment 2:

v      Mini device – magnifier                                             3 items



Right to Participate


Bids may be submitted by legal entities registered for the conduct of activities referred to in the Invitation.



Bid Contents


A bid should include:

§         Bidder's exact name and address.

§         Individual and total prices expressed in EUR, with and without VAT (storeroom of the Central Bank of Montenegro).

§         Brand, model and manufacturer’s name

§         Technical specification in accordance with the tender documents.

§         Expert workstation operation training

§         Delivery period (delivery to the CBM’s premises).

§         Conditions and method of payment.

§         Warranty period.

§         Maintenance and support - place and method.

§         Bidder's references.

§         Evidence of compliance with requirements from Article 4 of the Law on Public Procurement (PJN 4 Mandatory Evidence).

§         Bid guarantee for 3% of the bid price.


The bid may be submitted for one or both the segments.


The equipment characteristics and other information related to the bid submission are contained in the tender documents that the authorized bidders may obtain in the premises of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Bulevar Svetog Petra Cetinjskog 6, 81000 Podgorica, Montenegro, the room no. 6 (mail room) in the ground floor, during the period of the Invitation, every working day, from 1100-1400 hours.

Bid Submission and Opening


Bids may be submitted until may, 25, 2006 at 12:00 h (noon), by registered or insured mail to the following address:

81000 Podgorica



or in person, to the room number 6 (Central Bank mail room), ground floor, at the same address.


The bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, with the indication – “Invitation No. 007/2006 - Do Not Open Before Formal Meeting of Bid Opening Commission”.


The bid opening will be public and will take place on may 25, 2006, at 13:00 h.


Public bid opening may be attended by bidders’ authorized representatives. The persons attending the bid opening must present their written authorizations to the Bid Opening Commission, before the beginning of the meeting.


Untimely and incomplete bids will not be considered.



Contract Award


Contract will be signed with the most favorable bidder.
