FOUR BANKS GOT LICENSED

The 9th meeting of the CBM Council, chaired by its president Ljubiša Krgović, was held today in Podgorica. 

As the dominant matter, the Council considered the banks' activities on bringing their operations, organization and acts into compliance with the Law on Banks.  In view of the important novelties in the banking system regulation, it was evaluated that the Central Bank has established full cooperation with the banks seeking to provide them support and assistance in the compliance process.  

The CBM Council found that for the time being: 

complied their operation and decided to issue them approval for the continued operation.

The Council was also informed about the compliance related activities of other banks in the Republic. 

The Council discussed other matters under the field of its competence.
